Help needed!! What do you call that thingie......

Help, I am looking for that thingie you put on a pouch (like for sunglasses) that is metal. You have 2 metal strips and you squeeze the 2 ends and it pops open.

I have looked and googled everything and I just can't think what you would call it and it's driving me mad!!!

Not really as I want to make a few glasses cases and a few money pouches.

it's cut up tape measure.
The metal ones.
Just cut a section off to size, tape the ends so they don't poke you.
