I need some advice on changing a rediscovered skirt.
Skirt is beautiful and floaty with reverse box pleats all the way round forming a paper bag type top. It has a short side zip.
It’s too bulky for me now and I want to remove the pleats and maybe just gather, cut the top inch of and create a new waist band.
Would this work? How about the zip?
Any other suggestions to make a more flattering skirt but still maintain the floatyness? Thanks
