I started sewing about a year ago and am wondering about taking things a bit further, ideally with a group. I'd like that feeling of working on similar projects together, a chance to chat and make friends, and improve my skills. Don't mind whether it is online or in person or even virtually. How do others do this? What would you recommend? All the sewing classes locally seem to be in the working week in the daytime...
