Homework project of making an Advent Calendar with DD!

School assigned this project a couple of weeks ago and I have been rushing around trying to get cards up to date to spend some time with DD to do this.
For those of you that don't know, my DD is 6 and has Down Syndrome so I was really stressing over what I could do that she could join in and have fun with.
Well last night I put the final touches to it after fretfully losing my sticky back velcro.
I enjoyed making this so much I now want to make another one to keep at home!!!

Thank you!!! It wasn't about trying to be best in the class for DD,bless her- it was about trying to make something that she could interact with easily - I can't be doing with all this parenting rivalry!

Sharing our calendar could be embarrasing, I'm not very artistic, and dd is quite young, so no help from there ...

LIke I said in my blog wrigglejiggle I got stressed over what to do with my DD capabilities BUT the whole point of the homework was to share time and have fun not create a masterpiece!!!!

At first my concerns about how well she would interact sort of blinded the objectives! Just have fun!
