Thimble recommendations needed.

Hand sewing- as in lots of to the point my fingers are now sore from working with fine needles. The items I make are super small, 3D and not suitable for a sewing machine.

Can anyone who regularly hand-sews as a craft recommend thimbles that a) stay in place and b) give a decent level of protection.

Have you tried the leather thimble pads? I think they're miles better than traditional thimbles.

I like these Prym ones:
Prym PRYM_431141-1 Ergonomic Thimble, Medium, Dark Violet www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WIZDV1K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_N0VW19SXG6RJASGH6YE1?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Thank you both, I have the Prym ergonomic which do help.

Had a look at the leather based thimbles and finger guards. I think they could actually be of use to protect the sides of my finger and thumb whilst holding fine needles. Going to buy some to try out.
