Ooooh, he looks cute

Guess what I@ll be doing tonight...

SoupDragon · 30/11/2007 16:37

Since you have to email a photo of your dog in, there's plenty of time to enter!

SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 19:51

Well, I made my Stanley

lucykate · 01/12/2007 19:55

yay!, do we get to see him?, are you going to enter??, i'm not but have saved the pattern for future use as it looks really good

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 19:57

I did enter but had my email returned as their mailbox is full!! [sob]

SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 20:02

I've added him to my profile.

Probably.

lucykate · 01/12/2007 20:02

oh no!, how annoying, try sending it again on monday when they've had chance to empty it, i'm sure they'll have to accept late entries when it's their own fault it can't be sent. i bet one person has clogged it up by sending massive images and not scaling them down

lucykate · 01/12/2007 20:05

oh my word!!, he's ACE!!, love the rudolf idea

cute dc's too but stanley is a winner!

I used their contact us form to whine pathetically.

You're very kind He looked very dull in white (the only appropriate fabric I had!) so I thought he needed tarting up a bit to be in with any chance whatsoever!

southeastastra · 01/12/2007 20:55

aw soupy i was tempted to do one but couldn't be arsed didn't have time.

yours should win of course.

southeastastra · 01/12/2007 20:56

one made in a paisley pink probably won.

SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 22:41

I did wonder if I should butcher my rose-printed oven gloves (very Cath K but cheap from Homebase) to make him.

Maybe they have a taste filter on their email inbox.

SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 22:42

I'm not sure I would have been arsed made the time had it not been for the fact I wanted to win the vouchers for a friend

cadelaide · 01/12/2007 22:47

Don't you think the Stanley on the CK site, as per lucykate's link, is a bit crap though?
Really?

SoupDragon · 01/12/2007 22:49

Yes. I'm not a good seamstress and even mine is better sewn than that. And less dull.

Mind you, I lost the instruction bit and made it up as I went along.Hence his ears stand up and the patch on the back is one piece rather than 2!

cadelaide · 01/12/2007 22:51

Oh yours is class Soupy!

Gingermonkey · 02/12/2007 08:36

soupy - he is fab!!!! (you seem pretty good at creating - those children you made are rather lovely too )

SoupDragon · 02/12/2007 11:22

If only they were as undemanding as Stanley...

SoupDragon · 03/12/2007 11:12

Yay! They accepted my entry this morning now they've emptied the mailbox. Those vouchers are in the bag...

TwotzThenightbeforechristmas · 03/12/2007 11:16

Soupy - he is lovely!

SoupDragon · 03/12/2007 11:24

It's a good job you can't see the quality of the construction from the photo

OhComeLetUsADiorHim · 03/12/2007 11:25

He looks a damn sight more professional than the original linked one!

SoupDragon · 03/12/2007 11:28

Actually, you have a point there! I used white wool stitching on white felt for a reason
