How to get recent coffee stain out of light coloured carpet - Help please!

Hello, please can anyone help?
I dropped a huge mug of coffee on the carpet during the week and it's marked really badly.
I did completely the wrong thing immediately after spilling it as I grabbed a wet sponge and scrubbed at it rather than put a tea towel down to soak the worst of it up before doing anything else. Daft I know, but I panicked and didn't think.
I've since tried to scrub it with fairy liquid but to no avail.
Any suggestions pleeeeease?

Dr Beckmanns carpet cleaner. It's the best thing since sliced bread, we always have one in the cupboard. Will get most stains out.

Yes most supermarkets have it, I've often got in Aldi too in the bargain middle isles.
