anybody know anything about embroidery

I am making my daughters first duvet cover and want to embroider a monogram on it. I have not done any for about 20 years and I used to use iron on transfers. But I don't know where to get them from: John Lewis has stopped selling them and I can't seem to find any on the internet, other than for machine embroidery.

I know you can do it with special tracing paper but I don't know where to get that either.

I live in West London.
