Any ideas how to fix a square neckline so it stays straight?

I have a dress I really like with a square neckline but it's not lined and the material is quite thin so the neckiline tends to fall forwards instead of staying in a straight line across my chest. I feel like it needs something to stiffen it but all I can think of is starch spray. Any ideas for anything I could sew in?

It's so annoying isn't it? On mine it ruins the line and makes it too low cut

Is it because the neckline’s a bit too wide for you and therefore sagging? If you want to make the fabric firmer, you can try making a facing out of (say) grosgrain ribbon by sewing it inside the neckline. Or take a look at horsehair braid - it’s flexible, but usually used on hems and I don’t know how comfortable (or not) it might be against the skin.
