Baby Clothes

Our 4 month old already has a bag FULL of clothes that no longer fit. There must be over 100 items! I can't bear to get rid of them but at the same time, my husband doesn't want them 'cluttering up the loft' Grin

Any ideas what I can make with them? I have a sewing machine but never used it but I can crochet! Smile

You can make memory bears or blankets from old baby clothes but honestly I’d think carefully about it as then these can become pointless clutter if not used. I kept DS’ first outfit in his memory box then sold the rest or gave them to SIL.

You need to prepare for the future here! Gift them or sell them on Facebook as a bundle 0-3 months.
If you think you might have another baby sort out a reasonable set of the most useful ones , label the bag and pass on the rest.
I wouldn't cut up perfectly good clothes someone could use.

@Twilightstarbright @NotMeNoNo You're both right! It's very unlikely we'll have another baby, we have enough teddies and blankets already and clothes are cheap enough to buy again if we do have another. I've kept a few of my favourite outfits but selling the rest Smile

Sounds like a good idea! But if you want a craft project there’s loads you can do Smile

Google crochet fabric blankets - there are lots of ideas for blankets. Not sure any crocheter would think blankets would become useless clutter 😂

DocsOddSocks · 28/06/2021 09:36

@bennyjet They do when you have as many as me Grin
