I need a REALLY simple sewing tutorial for a dress

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've got a couple of days with not tooooo much going on, I have some lovely fabric I bought and I really want to make a stab at making a dress. I was going to make a skirt but I've realised I might be able to squeeze a dress out of the material! Just a loose design, not fitting - I am a complete novice (and probably bring wildly over optimistic about what I can doGrin). I do have a sewing machine and I have made one skirt before.

Check out the beachcomber by Waves and Wild. It’s an online version you pay to download and print out, and is very straightforward style.

Although thinking about it it’s for a jersey fabric (stretchy) and you probably don’t have that.

Tilly and the buttons has lots of simple styles abs videos you can follow.

Oooh, thanks @SmednotaSmoo. Yes it's not a jersey material (I'm much too lumpy for that!)

I also recommend Tilly and the Buttons, she always gives very clear instructions with photographs rather than those obscure diagrams you usually get.

@HellHasNoFur I think the beachcomber works fine for folk with lumpy bits (I’ve only made it in small versions). And definitely check out the other designs! But enjoy your sewing!

Dotty Angel Dress (from Simplicity?) is pretty simple tunic dress - I'm a pretty lazy sewer and it worked out okay for me. It has cap sleeves which makes it easy and pockets. You give it shape using tie backs.
