I've probably left it a bit late but...advent calendars

I'd like to make a re-useable advent calendar, in fabric, perhaps with pockets, and maybe sort of Shakerish (but am open to suggestions)? Does anyone know of any good blogs/websites/patterns for this sort of thing?

Think I'm being a bit optimistic, but perhaps if I start now I'll get it finished for Xmas 2008...

If you can get all the supplies then you should be able to do it quite quickly, back in a minute with a craftster link as there is one on there.

Oooh how exciting, thank you!

Am in a city so should be able to get what I need.

this looks quite easy and you could use the basic idea and personalise it, put felt on the backing board etc.

Or this is quite pretty and looks easy.

And this here (scroll down the page) will require you to brandish a sewing needle but probably won't take more than a few hours to put together.

Oh that's nice isn't it? I wonder where I could get a crate with 24 holes...

The third one is the pocket job you were sort of aiming for (I think).

If you search on ebay you'll find plenty of the fabric ones with pockets to make (I've got a few)
