Janome 7025 or 725s

I have been looking at getting a new sewing machine and have been looking at these machines, they look as if they are the same but the 7025 is only available at John Lewis and us £50 cheaper . I’d like to buy from a local shop but £50 is quite a big difference . Has anyone else discovered what the difference is ?

From what I've read the Janome 7025 is only sold in John Lewis and seems to be the exact same specs as the Janome 525s. The 525s was used in earlier seasons of the Great British Sewing Bee and as you know they now use the 725. Make of that as you will.

I can't give you an opinion of either machine as I have a different Janome model. You could try and get a discount from the likes of Sewingmachines.co.uk. They offered me £30 off my last machine.
