Hello, I am an Artist at a not for profit community arts centre which I have been working hard to bring to the people of Maidstone.
We have an Art Centre, based in Boughton Monchelsea which is providing daily Art classes and workshops for both adults and children.
We have daily kids after school art classes and a Saturday morning art group, daily adult classes of acrylic, watercolour, life drawing, crafts and much much more.
Not for profit, we charge a nominal fee for classes and welcome donations of unwanted art supplies and equipment, to help us keep our overheads down.
The centre has an art gallery which local artists can use to display their work and we have an adorable vintage horsebox which has been renovated to provide an outdoor art event for parties, weddings, fetes, fairs and schools. “Hector” is able to bring art & craft classes alongside catering, to your event, from retro sweets and craft class for kids, cupcakes & cookies, Ladies hen parties complete with cream teas and fascinator making, all profit is put back into the centre to enable is to continue.
Our classes are welcoming and fun and allow you to take some time out for you to discover your creative side.
Creativity is such an important part of a child’s development and art can open up the world to both kids and adults.
