I'm making a haa hoo for a lady.

It's the yellow spotty star shaped one.

My question is:

Do I just cit 2 pieces and stitch them together and stuff - which I think will make it a bit flat and not very 3D

OR

Do I stitch a gusset all the way round beiween the front and the back? - which I think will make it look fuller

I'm worried that with the dots the 2nd option will look a mess

HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!

It's going to be around 10" high and 8" across

would you have to shape the ends so they would be fuller (ie cut them out larger by comparison than the body- if that makes sense ??) so that it wouldn't be as flat ?

if you make the arms/pointy bits wide enough it won't be too flat - think of a cushion, it's 2 flat pieces but, once you stuff it, it's rounded. DYKWIM? Skinny arms/pointy bits will make a fat body and skinny/flatter arms. If you gusset all the way round it'll be too square (I think).
