I've made some jewellery, mainly for myself but I think I could sell it too and I would be interested to know what you would pay for it.

it depends whether you are selling as part of a business (ie to make money for yourself) or to cover the costs of a hobby.

I make jewellery as a hobby & to be honest I only price it based on what the components cost me (remember to include the P&P costs if you buy online). If you are planning on making costume jewellery to sell (ie silver plated stuff & not top quality crystals/glass beads etc), I think it's hard to compete with high street stores who sell everything so cheaply. You can justify higher prices if you use more expensive components (but then you are out of pocket if you don't sell!).
Remember if you are starting selling as a business, you have to register it
