any help with MOON SAND?

Hi I have a very active and forward 16 month old. He enjoys sand aand play do but with weather how it is not spending as much time outside. Can anyone tell me if moon sand is any good? Is is something you can play sitting up the table?

Moon sand is better for older children, I would give it to a 16 month old you're better of using playdoh.

walnutshell, it is special kinda coloured sand that sticks together, doesnt stay, floats etc. Indoor sand! Have a look in toy section of argos..

i doubt he would be able to mould with it, but i would imagine at his age he just wants to squish it about a bit. we have it, but it doesn't come out very often, dd gets bored with it after about 10 mins and ds just chucks it everywhere

finding him a nightmare to keep entertained when indoors! Have all the play doh etc.. yes he has short attention span too..

DD2 got a sand pit for her second birthday. She enjoyed throwing the sand around. Sandmoon really isn't as good as it sounds. Why not give him a tray of rice to play with(as long as he is supervised the whole time)
