Cross stitch pattern from a picture?

Hi! I've picked up cross stitching again over the past few months and have done some different kits. I want to try something different. I've got a picture (band logo) I want to cross stitch, but I'm not sure where to start with turning it into a pattern to follow and it not looking rubbish! I've had a look and there are some websites which turn pictures into patterns, can anyone recommend one? I want to keep it simple- only three colours.

Thank you 😊

I haven't done this myself, but the DMC website has this capability- you upload a picture of the pattern and opt for a number of threads (this is in ranges, so up to ten colours etc). I think the pattern is free if you buy the threads from DMC.

Thanks, I'll have a look! I've been having a play on pit to pat, but it's massively over complicating the pattern! I could maybe have a go at plotting it myself, but don't want to put the time in then it's rubbish! I found this pattern on Pinterest, but it's no longer on Etsy. I think I can just about count the stitch's - might use that!

Not sure if it's still available but you used to be able to buy acrylic sheets with grids on to plot pictures with, might be worth a google?

I've used 'stitch fiddle' in the past to generate patterns.
