Scrap booking

I am making a scrap book for my MIL for Christmas. I was enthusiastic earlier in the year and made the first 10 pages, but then ran out of steam, and not have another 10 pages to go and no inspiration at all. Anyone know any good websites to get me going again?

If you did a Fab 4 at your local shop, that would kick you along! Or if you can go on a scrapping weekend away - v productive.

That sounds brilliant - a weekend away doing nothing but scrapping! Trouble it, it would defeat my purpose of a practically free Christmas present for MIL!

What's a Fab 4? I don't think we have them round here!

Have you a theme? HAVE YOU ALREADY SELECTED THE PHOTOGRAPHS YOU WANT TO USE? (OOOPS sorry for shouting! What about the style and colours-are you keeping it all the same? Oh.. lots of questions!

I've sorted out most of the photos - still waiting for the rest of the family to come up with a few. No, I'm not doing a theme - each page is different. I decided that was more interesting because it's all about the family, and the people are so different that it would have been difficult to find a theme to fit them all into!

I'm sure Christmas wasn't this early last year!

I haven't scrapped in ages but I suppose I work around the photo, for colours, style and inspiration. Do you belong on any other crafting sites, LO templates are quite fun to do!

Fab 4 is a class where there are four layouts and you just bring your photos. Done over about a 3 hour period. The layouts are 1 or 2 pages, but they will often give you ideas for what subsequent page layouts could look like. Here is costs $40, so there about 10 pound I guess. I don't know how popular scrapbooking is in the UK, but here the shops have a monthly calendar of classes and free cropping and weekends away (I've been twice this year - wicked).
