Candle making beginner

I am not very crafty at all but I would like to start making my own scented candles. I use them a lot and have been gathering the left over wax and saving the glass jars as I hate to just throw them out but have no idea how to reuse them properly!
I've been reading on line but it would be nice to hear from someone with experience.
What equipment do I really need? I was going to order some wicks and a small metal pot to melt the wax and obviously some wax but is that really all I need. I was planning on using essential oils that I already have. Am I missing something? Also where would you recommend buying wax etc from?
Thanks for reading.

I've made candles on a course, & yes essentially all you need is the wax, oils/fragrance, wicks & wick holder, glass jar & the pots/utensils to melt it in.
For supplies I use The Soap Kitchen (I make soap) who also sell candle supplies & essential oils etc.
Maybe join some candle-making FB groups & get a book about it, as you might find certain oils/waxes react differently.

I've just started making candles for myself and got supplies from Candle Shack. I bought some jars (though I plan to re-use them and also save every jar/glass pot I can get my hands on so I don't need to keep buying them) and some wicks, plus some stickers that stick the wick into position on the bottom of the jar. Had my first attempt yesterday- didn't put in enough fragrance but overall they came out quite nicely and it's surprisingly easy to do.

Thanks for the replies and for suggesting places to buy supplies from. I would rather use somewhere that someone else recommends.
I'll have a look at these, thank you

I made my first candles last week and am so impressed with myself! They look very good and burn well without too much pooling but they don't have much of a fragrance. I used a whole tub of essential lavender oil for the two reasonably small candles but it really only smells when I'm up close to it. I actually thought I'd maybe used too much.
I've been looking at the fragrances on the Candle Shack and Soup Kitchen. Some really lovely sounding scents.
Would you use a whole tub for a medium sized candle? (I'm picturing a Yankee medium or Aldi size).
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

What percentage of essential oil to wax did you use? I usually use 10% to the weight of wax - if that makes sense 🥴
