What do you do with your crochet projects that has gone wrong?

I have done an amigirumi but it has gone wrong. I realised I used the wrong stitch, so there's loads of holes in the body and you can see the stuffing inside it. One arm is bigger than the other, it's head is too big and heavy so it just flops sideways...! Hard to unravel it because I've sewed so much into it, but I might try and unravel what I can. Do you throw them away? Thankfully just made with poundland acrylic yarn, just a shame all my time is wasted though.

@yarncakes Ooh that's annoying! Do you have a picture of it? Smile

I have thrown it away now, so no picture :( I sliced it apart and took the stuffing back out of it. Annoyed but never mind, onwards and upwards.

Little things with stuffing it’s easier to throw as stuffing catches all tiny threads and never recovers!

When I crochet toys I put the stuffing inside a stretchy fabric cover and then it doesn’t come through the crochet holes. Either a bit of old tights or t shirt then stitch closed .

You could have cut it up for stuffing.

I always keep my snipped off yarn for that.
