Diamond Painting

In addition to the PBN thread, I then discovered diamond painting.

Again, you can get standard images to choose from, but you can also get photos turned into canvases. I did two photos as gifts for friends at Christmas and they loved them.

Obviously not going to post them due to privacy. But this is a standard canvas I’ve just finished (chose it for fun, the colours - not to put on the wall).

Plus another one that’s not quite finished.

Both of these are quite small canvases (30 x 39cm). With the photos I did, I went for 3x that size - the larger The canvas, the better the end result - as doesn’t look so pixelated.

Hi. I saw the pbn thread, but I haven't done any of that so far (I do have a couple waiting for me to start).

I have done a few diamond paintings though. I did these 2 in the first lockdown and that got me hooked. Since then I've done another dragon and a castle. Dd1 bought me a couple of guinea pig diamond paintings for Christmas and I'm doing a Dumbo one for dd2 at the minute.

Are you framing any of yours? What do you use to frame them? They aren't always standard sizes for cheap frames and it would get expensive to get the big ones framed.

I have just discovered this and bought one to try.

Been doing this for a while, finally finished. He’s rather handsome!

First proper one finished. Now to figure the best way to frame it!
