CE self testing, has anyone done it?

I want to make jars for children with vinyl on them. They will be classed as a toy.

I’ve found pvc free vinyl so they’re not toxic (the vinyl is permanent so very unlikely to come off)

The jars are CE tested but my personalising voids that.

What do i need and is it really worth it?

If you want this to be a business then yes I would say it's worth it. It's not terribly onerous depending on the materials you are using and there's lots of help to fill in the paperwork. A good site is this one

Thank you. I suppose once I’ve done it I’ll know what to expect, it’s quite daunting.

I’m really proud of my product, I was gutted when I realised I couldn’t sell it legally.

Thanks again 😀
