Join some Facebook groups. There are loads. Best place to get advice. Also follow MrCraftyPants, JenniferMaker and AuntieTay on YouTube.

Find one of the free projects on the App Library (assuming this is the same as for the other machines!) and have a play at first. I made a t-Rex "trophy head" on my Explore and this needed multiple sheets of paper plus some other techniques (does the Joy have a pen and scorer option?)

I do have a great fear of wasting paper/vinyl/whatever though 😂
