Anyone sell on Etsy?

I am hoping to open a shop on Etsy but not ready to launch it yet (just want to stock the shop). If I press save and continue in the bottom right hand corner...does this mean it will go live i.e. able to be viewed by the public?

I haven't entered my billing details yet, so I suspect it won't...?

The shop will be open but you can list and save drafts so nothing goes live and you won't be charged.

Thanks delilah...I took the plunge in the end and pressed the button! All good.

Anyone else just starting out on Etsy? I'm stocking my shop gradually, wondering if I will sell anything.

What are you selling?

Read up about product tags and keep adding new things. Newer listings do better and you can also drive from social media like Instagram and Pinterest. Make sure all of your seller profile is filled in, a legal returns policy is a must as is contact information. I won't buy from sellers who aren't following trading laws like the Consumer Contract Regulations.
