Have some red velvet curtains - what shall I make?

A dress?
Maybe something to wear with a black corset?
A waistcoat?
A cloak?

I am dithering - and I have about 8 patterns out

I would make a hooded red velvet cloak and waft about the house in it instead of a dressing gown.

A coat. Curtains are probably too heavy for a dress. A waistcoat wouldn’t make the most of the lovely way the fabric will hang and a coat will get more use than a cloak.

Coat - ok ill start cutting out tomorrow

Might make a lined dressing gown as well, I like the inside to be soft!

Oh, this! I quite like the idea of striding through pristine white snow in one too.

But yes, a coat is a far more practical idea for the 21st century!

I have done precisely nothing, my get up and go, got up and went!!
So I played compter games and lay in bed all day

Ok cut out the coat just off to find my pocket pattern!
And something to line it with

Dress cut out now, and it looks like I can fit 2 toddler dresses too!

Bloody big curtains!

Aell she is on the BBC this Christmas but not professionally

She has struggled with work cos of covid but she was on a tour last summer and has a show coming up next year (covid pending)
