Where can I donate knitted cardigans and blankets to help refugees?

I knit and crochet all the time and have a pile of baby blankets and cardigans that I would like to donate to a refuge charity, however despite googling I haven't been able to find any addresses. Does anyone know of a charity for refugees that would accept these items?

there are refugee centres in many town and cities.
not sure how far/ where you are.
could you not find one near you.
thanks for doing that OP.
esp as they have no recourse to public funds.

I can find a place for helping refugees living in my city, but I was hoping to find somewhere that maybe sent them out to Calais or Syria. I just keep thinking of cold little babies and toddlers. I am in Hampshire. But I will try googling refugee centres, I may not have been asking google in the right way

alexdgr8, thank you for your suggestion, because when I googled refugee centres accepting knitted things I found what I was looking for! Obviously what I'd been typing in was not the right phrases, so I have now found a charity that I can send the cardigans and blankets of to and they then ship them out to refugee centres in Syria along with other items that are needed out there.

Woolly Hugs? Find them under the Body and Soul topic or their website.

We have a charity in my home town called Refugee Aid From Taunton (Raft). You can find them on Facebook. What a lovely thing to do op.

Good on you OP
look at People in Motion on Facebook. they are collecting for Calais now.
They team with groups like Jungle Solidarity High Wycombe., Maternity Aid Cascade, Refugee Solidar Herefordshire and Worcestershire .....
Good luck!
