I haven't bought a knitting magazine for a few years. So got Simply Knitting which was my favourite. Price £6. 99. Shock Couldn't look inside first because wrapped in plastic. It wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. Can anyone recommend another magazine. Thanks.

I think they are all really expensive now. Sometimes there is a knitting magazine you can look at free with Amazon Prime if you have that.

I like The Knitter, its so lush, but having a real problem finding stockists thesedays and heard very poor things about the 3rd party subscription service they use. Its quite advanced knitting though so not for the faint hearted!

Let's Knit is my favourite but I've a bit of a weakness for them. Knit Now is also good. It's my no smoking money so four magazines a month. Is really only a few packs of ciggies for me.

I do like the knitter.

Back when I was a prolific knitter, I used to subscribe to interweave knits, which is an American magazine. They do digital subscriptions, now, which saves on the international postage premium.

Have you tried Readly? I joined because it's a cheap way to get access to the cross stitch magazines I like. I just did a search for 'knit' and the attached screenshot is the list of titles available.

I'm still on the free trial, but I'm liking it so far. here is my share link if you want to try a free trial:

@Viviennemary my library has a digital library service where you can read lots of different magazines for free, and it has the knitter, simply crochet and simply knitting. Worth checking if your local library has a similar service.
