Glueing feathers and fabric and pipe insulation?

Struggling to make a carnival costume; I have a wire frame, covered in pipe insulation

And now I need to add feathers (which are apparently left and right)

So what do I stick them on with? Hot glue?

I guess its fairly niche

Amazing! What glue did you use in the end?

I used a hot glue gun, I taped some of the structure and I even tied bits together (knew that girl guide lashing would come i useful!)

That looks amazing!! Is it for an event or were you just bored

It was for a project funded by the Arts Council it was supposed to be a play last year but didn't happen and now it will be a film this year released on Windrush day
