Christmas plates

Hi all, I want to make a treat plate for my daughter for Christmas and wondered what people used as the pens and how it is fixed onto the plate.

I brought one for my son years ago but the lady has stopped doing it so thought I would have a go myself.

homeguides.sfgate.com/decorate-plates-sharpies-86609.html tells you how to do it with Sharpie pens. You can also buy porcelain paint pens from Hobbycraft or on line.

Or you could go to a pottery painting shop, (obviously depending on where you are and how quickly you want it) and make one there and they’ll put it in their kiln for you.
