Cross stitch patterns

I have been cross stitching for many years and have designed a lot of my own. I have a couple that I think would sell really well but have no idea how I create a pattern. I have it on an excel spreadsheet but don't know how I can transfer it to something that would be sellable. Anyone done anything like this before?

Isn’t there software available for that?

Thank you @ninninannonoonoo I will have a look at that later - it looks interesting. @GroundAlmonds - there are but they are expensive and I only have one or two to sell - it would take me years to recoup the expense
