Yarn help

Has anyone used Lion brand 'Pound of Love' yarn? What's it like? It's the recommended yarn for a baby blanket I'm planning on knitting but it 100% acrylic and I usually use natural fibres for baby blankets. Any suggestions for an alternative?

I've never used that yarn, but anything made by stylecraft is lovely.

I've never used Lion brand but I second the Stylecraft recommendation. I've made lots of blankets with it and it wears and washes well.

I'm about to make a baby blanket using Drops cotton merino but
I've not started it yet. I've use Sirdar Baby Bamboo for baby blankets before and that's also nice.

I've made many, many blankets and parts of blankets out of Stylecraft Special and it's fine. For an acrylic yarn it is superb but it doesn't compare to a natural fibre IMO.
