I’ve had such great advice on this forum, which has really helped me with my recently reignited love of crochet... but it’s all unfortunately proving to be rather expensive!
I started off using King Cole Subtle Drifter and Merino Blend but have recently used Scheepjes Soft Fun DK and Stone Washed 4-ply, which are both lovely. But a bit pricey.

I’m wondering if they split when crocheting, or shrink or colour-run. Or if anyone knows of any other cheap-ish cotton/cotton with a bit of acrylic?
