Coastal Crochet seaside blanket

I’ve already posted a question about hook sized - all resolved now, thanks to Mumsnet!

Next question - I’ve got quite a bit of King Cole Subtle Drifter www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/king-cole-subtle-drifter-dk-denim-4390-100g) to use up - it’s a really soft, marled mix of acrylic, cotton and a bit of wool but I want to add to it some bottle green, dark red and possibly a custardy yellow, but there are none in that range. Does anyone know another soft alternative? Would prefer something that isn’t just acrylic. Thank you!

I think your blanket would turn out better if you keep to the same range of wool.
But you could try looking for another mixed fibre dk using the excellent filter on the wool warehouse site. So maybe something like scheepies merino soft perhaps.

Thanks, the Scheepjes looks good. I don't like not being able to go into an actual shop to feel it! A minor irritation in the grand scheme of things...

Oh yes, nothing like going in a wool shop and giving everything a good feel.
I am a fan of wool warehouse though, their customer service is very good.
