Weaving - does anyone else?

Just that, really.
I have a loom that was made for me and I'm really loving using it at the moment - it's the first opportunity I've had to have a really good play with it.

I did. We used to have sheep and I would spin and dye their wool. Unfortunately we hadn't selected them with regards to their fleeces, and the wool was pretty rough. But it did make good rugs. And also sculptural crocheted bowls.
The thing is, I found that weaving requires one to be accurate and painstaking. I'm more of a bodger. I could never get my edges to be straight and crisp. Also, the 2 looms I had (an ordinary and a rug loom) took up too much space. So I moved onto something else.

I have done a tiny bit of tablet weaving...
I don’t dare get a loom. I have the space but there would be so much to learn it would be a massive time sink!

What is yours like, Cattermole?

It's a Roman two-beam loom, @Countess. I just warp it up with a bought reed when I'm using it at home instead of string heddles!
I've also got a warp-weighted loom in the shed (but I don't like it as much) and a little tape/box loom which I adore.

MaMaLa, I'm chuntering through two fleeces from a friend at the moment, one blue/black/silver one and one natural. They're not lovely but they're fun, most likely because they were free so I don't feel guilty about doing awful things to them :-)

I love weaving! I also spin and dye. If tablet weaving but the majority is on an 8 shaft floor loom. I do a lot of shawls, scarves and fabric for clothes.
