Looking for a free sewing pattern for a short victorian-esque jacket

It needs to be quite short

I like this but I'm not sure I could shorten it effectively

Does anyone know one?

Oh my goodness - it has a free cape pattern. I'm sure I need a cape in my life...

That's nice - I have a vintage black gaberdine (lined with lilac satin) floor length opera cloak!!

We may not do social distancing shoot today as I have put 2 skirt panels in backwards!

You cannot go wrong with a fabulous hat. You could make flowers from leftover fabric...

Thanks - I try not to buy patterns and only buy PDFs or second hand paper patterns if I have to I'm a bit of an eco geek

@SoupDragon has found me a fabulous front and I may combine it with that interesting back (or I might not I haven't decided)

Today is a tidy up day and I may make a bridesmaid dress from the remnants if I have enough & I need to re-centre the back seam - I found a stain so I am washing it after soaking in my husbands special stain remover mixture!
