Paint for China mugs

Now I've got time on my hands, I'd like to refresh the patterns on my hand painted china mugs (from Cosmo Place China). My deal with the devil for having nice mugs was that they'd go in the dishwasher and I'd accept the wear and tear. So now I've decided to try to brighten them up but don't know what to use. I've got some clear top coat to glaze which I used on a pot last week and was fine. Any help or advice?

They're not paints as such, but I've got two packs (different colours) of edding china painting pens. I've used them on mugs and egg cups. They're dishwasher proof to 50 degrees if you cure them in the oven. To be fair I've washed things in the top basket at 60 and they've been fine. I got them cheaply in TK Maxx ages ago, but they're widely available.

Thank you so much. I will have a look for those. I had seen some pens but wasn't sure if those were the right thing or if there was something better available. I'm going to get some and refresh ruin my mugs
