Hi everyone!
My partner and I are both WFH during lockdown and struggling to come up with idea to keep our 16 month old busy throughout the long days.... any ideas? Things we can do with him/on his own/etc? We live in a large flat with no harden (so no garden activities haha!) and have just been going for a big walk over the forest at midday for fresh air but need some indoor (preferably educational if poss!) ideas. What have you guys been up to keeping busy? Thanks!! GrinGrin

Following with interest as I’m running out of ideas for my DD the same age! So far we’ve made rice crispie cakes, colouring in aka throwing crayons round the kitchen and collecting them again, gone for a walk round the garden, and played with a sticker book! I’ve been rotating her toys and books so she doesn’t get bored of them and we also go out for a walk with the dog in the afternoon once she’s woken up from her nap which breaks the day up a bit.

Really long baths. Take in containers from your kitchen for water play. If she’s having fun just let her stay in there, doesn’t matter if it’s an hour

Lots of stories.

Build a fort with the kitchen table and blankets

Play dough.

Sensory play with cooked pasta in a big container with lots of little containers
