I have commissions, I have half finished work, I have new stuff planned: but can I get started? NO!

It's bloody frustrating

I just had a workroom built and it is hard finding places for things but I seem to want to tidy all the time and I have so much I should be doing

Is anyone else the same or has the school closing stopped some of you?

I can't focus on anything at all - crafting, tidying, reading, gardening... none of them. I've just taken to doing small bits of everything with the attention span of a gnat.

I did "build" a tap dancing floor so DD can do her dance classes now they've moved online 😂😂 that's my biggest achievement (apart from not murdering a family member or the dog)

not murdering a family member or the dog

These are valid skills almost necessary ones - yes I am butterflying too

It's so frustrating I have so much new stuff to do and I am resisting starting them I need to do older stuff first

Oh I forgot does your dd want to join my dad's class at 1:15 each day? It's just a fun dance to keep up our spirits?

I fixed the fitting of a dress I made a while ago today and did some unpacking - not a great start tbh

I’m knitting at the moment. There is something about the mindless repetitiveness of it that is so soothing.

Yes, i could be building up stock, but just can't sit down and concentrate..
I'm finding myself cleaning everything, oh and washing! Think it's possibly a weird thing of having some control of my immediate surroundings, and becoming a clean freak to try and avoid catching anything.
My sewing can wait, don't think theres going to be a retail rush for quite a while!

Unfortunately, DD is "in school" at 1:15 - they are doing video teaching to the normal timetable! She is delighted 😂

@soupdragon Grin Grin Grin

I think atm DD would be delighted by that tbh - new choreography each day is indicative of her mental state!!

I'm up ealry as she and the boyfriend have gone shopping at different shops and needed waking and coaching in what to buy

DD got a grant to put on a show so I have 21 (I think) costumes to produce and yesterday I got both a vintage dress and spare material to alter it and the measurements of my more challenging star
