If anyone is doing something or has heard of things that are new or interesting please feel free to add them.

I'm going to be doing a one-day lesson/quilt along with Gudrun Erla (Stripology lady) on Sunday. She had a particularly full schedule of classes and lectures booked and now they are all cancelled so she's doing an online lesson with her new pattern. The pattern will be free to download on Saturday only. Details from her Facebook page www.facebook.com/gequiltdesigns/?tn-str=k*F or her webpage gequiltdesigns.com/blogs/ge-happenings

Bluprint, who used to be Craftsy, are offering a free 2-weeks. You have to sign up for a year but can cancel before the 2 weeks are finished. I have decided to keep the full year as it's on special offer $39.99. I am going conquer free-motion quilting, unless I'm sent to prison for murdering the DC first. Grin

Have a look at Angela Walters on YouTube too. She's good for FMQ advice and step by step instructions. She also has classes on Bluprint and her Midnight Quilt Show is on there Smile.

I really like Angela Walters, I've watched loads of her videos. I think she is probably naturally able to draw as she goes from a very short 'basic' to 'impossible' without the middle bit that I need. I think I have a bit of trouble with my hand-eye-needle co-ordination. Even following a drawn line is pretty difficult for me, let alone mentally filling in a space with free-hand/free-needly without boxing myself into a corner.

Be a part of my new BIG HUG community art project and let’s spread some love. Right now we are all affected in some way by the coronavirus and we are more socially isolated than ever. We need creative ways to connect, support and virtually hug each other. The BIG HUG community art project is free, simple and everyone is invited, especially children and older people. Just submit a drawing to be included in the BIG HUG picture. Visit the BIG HUG project page on my website for more details of how to enter.

This year will sadly be remembered for the bad things that happened so let’s create some good memories too.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AS WIDELY AS YOU CAN SO WE CAN GET MORE PEOPLE INVOLVED ! Thank you ❤️
