Diamond painting

I’ve just started a diamond painting project and was just wondering if there are any crafters out there on Mumsnet doing these?
It’s quite fun to do and easier to pick up and put down compared to cross stitch. But I will always love cross stitch more!

Hi OP, yes I only recently found out about Diamond Painting and my journey has only just begun! I love Gothic Paintings so I am working my way Anne Stokes Collection. I have subscribed to a few YouTube Channels, but I can't wait too my finished painting!

Can anyone recommend a good kit? I've seen some nice pictures on Amazon, but the pictures of the completed ones in the reviews look nothing like the pictures! Keen to give it a go, just not sure what to start with!

Hi @BookSkark I bought all of mine from Amazon but they have similar ones on Ebay which are cheaper. I chose ones based on my likes which are Gothic Angels. I also have bought some to put on my wall, again themed. I am new to it and looking to join an official Diamond Painting club so will have to do some research.

I got mine from AliExpress. It’s looking alright so far.

I've seen a lot of people use Ali Express, I'm going to have a look on there. Looks beautiful @Crazybunnylady123

My friend loves this! She doesn’t keep great and has been finding it extremely therapeutic. She’s done several so far for people

Yeh, it’s fun. I usually have Netflix on while I do some in the evening once my lo has gone to sleep.
I’m working on a quick project for my babies nursery, but then I will get back to it!
