Giving away a hand operated sewing machine

Any ideas? It needs renovation but is an 1890s shuttle frister and rossman. I rescued it but now have 4 machines and I really don't need this one....! In the s/w. Would love to be able to give it to someone who wants it or a charity.

If you join the Vintage Sewing Machines group on Facebook you can post pictures and see if anyone nearby would be interested in it? That way it's more likely to go to someone who'll appreciate it.

Thanks for vintage sewing machine group info. I have newer Singer - 1960s - i need time find a home for. May be some pointers.

It's heavily US oriented, but there's a few UK people - especially a chap called Alex Askaroff who's Sussex based and seems to be able to bring anything back to life.

And lots of pictures of the prettiest machines, makes my white plastic Janome look even uglier by comparison.

Thank you! I'm not on Facebook but will see if there's another way of contacting them. Sleepycat I'm in south Somerset but travel to Bournemouth every week.
