It was in my favourite craft shop & I swore I wasn't going to buy anything but I just had to take the seat next to the sale box didn't I? Came home with 2 balls of gorgeous Laines Du Nord kid mohair & 3 balls of Laines Du Nord Firenze for under £12

It only started this week so there were only 4 of us there (including the shop-owner lol) but it was really good. The 2 others were a mum & daughter - the mum was in her 40s I'd guess & the daughter was in 6th year so I suppose around 16-17 & they were both knitting gorgeous cardis. The daughter's cardi even had cables - I've never been brave enough to try cables yet so was very .

Can't wait for 2 weeks today now.

Oh and the shop owner is probably about my age (mid-39s) so nary an old lady in sight
