Crochet Flowers

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can buy crochet flowers - apart from ebay as the selection is not that great and they don't always have the colours I want

I use them to adorn my stuffed creatures that I make.

Are they easy to make ? I don't knit or crochet but my mum said they are really easy and quick to make but I wouldn't have a clue.

I wouldn't mind having a go if they are as quick to make as my mum thinks.

Thanks

Tillyboo, I borrowed this book from the library and crocheted a flower that was in there with no problems - and I had never crocheted before!! The finished flower is part of the blanket I knitted (on my profile) but I've just had a look and you can't see it very well (it's next to the square made up of a yellow triangle and a green triangle). But I found the instructions very easy to follow and was impressed with the results.

Alternatively you could employ a mumsnetter to crochet some for you

I crochet & it's absolutely simple - if you can fingerknit you can crochet. I borrowed this from the library & it has fantastic step by step instructions.

There's a beautiful pattern for a rose (I still have it here) & I'm gonna have a try at crocheting an entire wedding bouquet with roses, lilies & carnations just to see if it'll work

Hi All,

I think I'm going to have a bash at crocheting myself. I love the rose in the Amazon book.

If I make a complete hash of it, I shall

a) feel a right plumb as everyone say's how easy it is
b) will immediately ask one of you lot to make some for me

Love the flower on the blanket (can just about see it)

Thanks all for replying
