Have anyone knitted Christmas stockings

Id like to have a go at making some for dc and I’m much better at knitting than sewing. Are knitted ones sturdy enough to last?

Yes! I made one using a pattern from Verypink knits .com in an Aran weight yarn. She also does a felted Christmas stocking pattern which would be even sturdier. Go for it!

I made a chunky knitted one about 25 years ago and it’s still here. I’m better at sewing so the others are all appliqué but the knitted one is lovely.
