I'd like something great for 2 long seat pads for a church pew at my dining table. Where is good to look on a budget?

I used to enjoy having a rummage in the remnant boxes at John Lewis. I picked up some great bargains that way.

There is a fabric website that used to be horrendous garish with flashing images but I can't remember the name now! It redesigned the website to look more professional.

I think it was Fabricland. The website still isn't great but It's better than it was!

(It was always recommended here. I've never used it)

I’ve bought some beautiful William Morris Upholstery fabric from kats fabrics - it’s a shop on ebay. Very good prices - also does zoffany and occassional liberty fabrics.

Rolls and Rems was substantially cheaper than John Lewis for the same fabric.
Sayeed fabrics in Walthamstow high street also has a small but nice selection of upholstery fabric.
