Lampshade kit? (And advice)

I really want to cover a lampshade in Liberty fabric. Has anyone recovered a lampshade in fabric before or used a kit?

I can see a frame on eBay but not sure what other kit I need (bar fabric obviously).

Yes, I've recovered one. You'll need lampshade binding tape or similar to wrap around the struts of the frame, so that you can stitch the fabric onto it, lining fabric and main fabric. I found lots of tutorials on pinterest.

Its probably easier to get a used shade in a shape that you like, and carefully cut off the fabric and use as a pattern.

The Cottonpatch sells a kit with everything bar the fabric, here. That's the 30cm but they do a few sizes. I haven't made mine yet but my friend has and found it pretty straightforward.
