Found a dark kid mohair here

Hello Tinks my dear Rowan have a new yarn called Kid Silk Aura that comes in nearly black, and can be knitted to the same tension. More expensive though. Probably worth a look at Texere, too- they usually do a good range of mohair, though you usually have to guess at the tension.

Ooh spooky- no answers for 4 hours and then two at once

Cue twilight zone music.
Think the Tamum'a kidsilk Aura is the closest match, tinker

I just checked Texere and actually black seems to be conspicuous by its absence. I was wondering about Louisa Harding too, but her mohair yarns seem to be more of a DK weight.

Oh, thank you ladies. Will study properly later when sans enfants. And hello to you as well tamum, don't see you around so much these days. Or is it because I'm not around so much?
