Blanket gone grey in wash

A very precious hand knitted balnket in acrylic has been turned grey in the wash. It was originally white. Is there anything i can do to restore the white colour? Thank you so much for any advice.

You're in luck that acrylic doesn't take color easily. Have a whirl at any number of Google tutorials. Here's one that's worked for me before:
