Superwash wool-your thoughts please

Does it feel like acrylic, or weird, or anything?

or is it like regular wool?

Is it soft?

Are there any brands to look out for? Am oogling ebay King Cole.

BASICALLY I need something very washable, but want wool, not acrylic. Am fussy. Also I want to food-dye them so it MUST be wool.

Its for two things. First, a couple of jumpers for ds. Then I have a plan to make a rip off of the cath kidston crochet blanket, when I learn to crochet.

Remember-I don't have a LYS so am a bit reliant on the rest of you here!

it seems you CAN dye it, have checked. Can't felt it, obv.

Is it closer to wool or acrylic in look/feel?
